The project included 103 custom control enclosure consisting of control stations,  PLC Enclosures,  Remote i/O Enclosures, Telemetry Enclosure, Fiber Optic Termination Enclosures, Chemical Tank Control Enclosures, and 273 instruments

East Ohio Utica Midstream

For phase I of the Leesville Cryo Plant phase Palmer DCS was select as the integrator for a custom power distribution center. The PDC consisted of a custom built 31’ 6’ x 160’ x 11’ steel building, Install inside the building Palmer DCS was responsible for providing 4 GE Evolution Series MCC with 64 total section configured with 100 Combination Starters ranging in HP from ¾ to 10 and 72 AF -600 VT VFD ranging in HP from 20 to 10, 2 Benshaw MV 1000HP VFD, 6 Benshaw 400 18 Pulse VFD, 2 GE Spectra Switchboards, and ABB MV 15kV and 5Kv Switchgear, and 1 500HP 4160 RVSS.

El Aguila Concentrator Expansion Project, Oaxaca, Mexico

Palmer DCS was select to customize three Motor Control Centers (MCCs). Modifications for MCC 1 included installing 15 U-line starters with Modbus communication capability to a Modicon M340 PLC in MCC 3. Modification fro MCC-2 consisted of installing 6 U-line starters and 2 Ethernet cards with Modbus communication capability to the Modicon M340 PLC in MCC-3 and to the VFD’s in the MCC-2. Modifications for MCC 3 consisted of installing 30 U line starters with Modbus communication capability to the Modicon M340 PLC and to the VFD’s installed in MCC-3. In addition with installed the Modicon 340 PLC and 2 Ethernet Cards for the communication with the starters in and VFD in all three MCC’s.

Featured Custom Panel Project List

San Jacinto Water Treatment Plant Expansion | ABB

Palmer DCS was awarded the contract to supply 37 enclosed variable frequency drive packages, featuring the ABB ACS800 drive. The project included 296 Pulse packaging ranging in horse power from 5 to 60, and 8 18 pulse harmonic mitigation drive packages, 3 100 HP, 1 125HP and 3 300HP. Palmer DCS also has provided field start up assistance. The final drives will not be started up until 2015.

SMojave CA Solar Field | Questa

Palmer DCS partnered with Telvent a subsidiary of Schneider Electric to build 39 custom control panels for the Mojave CA solar field panels for multiple, This project consist 3 PC cabinets, 2 communication cabinets, 21 remote communication cabinets, and 13 local control cabinets. Palmer DCS provided Factory Acceptance Testing at our facilities which required interconnecting all 39 cabinets using a variety fiber optic cabling.

Community Power | A

Palmer DCS was selected as the panel shop to assist Community Power with the assembly of the controls panels for a biofuel system. The project started out with 5 controls panels per system, but with the help of value engineering from Palmer DCS this has now been consolidated down to four controls panel.  Palmer DCS provides complete assembly of each control, the UL listing and point to point testing of each panel.

Western Refining  

Palmer DCS was selected as the panel shop to build 3 custom PLC panels. Palmer DCS’s ability for meet the customer required delivery date was a major factor in the company being awarded this opportunity. The project required building 3 different custom designed PLC panels using Schneider Modicon components. After initial release the project the customer delivery priority changed and Palmer DCS was able to react and deliver the three panel’s on-time.
